Every day in our house something new is HILARIOUS. The fun part for me is figuring out what it is. Bodhi has now taken to uncontrollable giggling and my job each day is to try out everything I can until I get the little man going. One day it might be clicking my tongue, the next day it might be a certain song. Regardless, it will be absolutely hysterical for that day but the next day if I try it out again, he'll look at me with that "um, what are you doing?" confused look on his face - NOT funny anymore Mom. Today was no exception - every time I did my best telephone ringing imitation, Bodhi was in total hysterics. It has to be the greatest thing I've ever seen, hands down. Dan has it made, all he has to do when he gets home is ask me what the funny thing of the day is and he is the instant comedian!
I love every single day with this little guy. He is so incredibly happy and cheery and lovely to be around, it's impossible to have a bad day. I can honestly say, I don't remember the last time I had a "bad day", but it was definitely before he came along. As everyone in my family can attest, I am a big laugher myself - I laugh at EVERYTHING - some people say that's why Dan married me, everyone loves someone who laughs at all their jokes!
Tonight when I put Bodhi to bed, he was laughing in his sleep - these weren't little sleep grins - these were full on chuckles. He is definitely my son.
