'Tis the season!

Every year at Christmastime we all think to ourselves, 'next year, I'm not going to procrastinate- I'm going to Christmas shop early to avoid line-ups, I'm going to send Christmas cards out early to avoid them arriving on doorsteps AFTER Christmas, and so on.' - whoops, I forgot. My first bout of procrastination realization was last week when Bodhi and I set foot into the Eaton Centre - we were inundated with crowds of people, blaring holiday music, 10 mile long Santa line-ups and the curse of the slow mall-walkers. Needless to say, we got no gifts that day and made a quick exit. We even stepped into Costco yesterday - that's right, on a Sunday, with only one more weekend before Christmas.

Sometimes, though, procrastination can work in your favour. Last week Dan and I thought of a great idea - taking Bodhi to get his portrait taken for Christmas! Well apparently every other parent in Toronto already had the same idea - and they had it a month ago. There were no appointments left anywhere! So what did we do? Set up our own little photo studio in our dining room and look at the result!

Oh, and by the way, I procrastinated too much to get Christmas cards out this year, so consider this a group holiday wish - HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM MARY-KATE, DAN AND BODHI!
