1. About 2 months ago, Bodhi became completely obsessed with rubber boots. He had two pairs - one with fish and one with Spiderman. This obsession has now grown to include snow boots, especially those belonging to other people. There is always a favourite pair in rotation - the favourites right now are Clara's black rubber boots.
2. Bodhi is still obsessed with spoons. When I open the dishwasher to unload the dishes, he will promptly step up and remove every spoon from the tray and stow them away.
3. Bodhi drops the 's' on any word that starts with 's' and is followed by a consonant. The most common ones are 'nake', 'nack', 'wing' and 'nowman'. Love it.
4. Bodhi's favourite book right now is Bear Snores On by Karma Wilson. He calls it 'on' or 'achoo' because there's a big bear sneeze in it. Which brings me to #5.
5. Bodhi knows every one of his books by their cover and calls them all some random word that is in the book. For example - in 'Grandpa and Me' they make a pizza, so this book is called 'pizza'. In 'Grandma and Me' they bake cookies, so this book is called 'cookies'.
6. Bodhi loves to push buttons of any kind. Favourites are the buttons on the microwave, the button to run the coffee maker and the buttons on Mommy's shoulders that make her go 'beep!'.
7. This morning Bodhi put on the oven mitts and said 'mittens!'. I don't want to forget that.
8. Bodhi loves to wear jammies and his housecoat. He takes after his Mom and Dad.
9. Bodhi still loves to eat. He would eat the same portions as me if I put them in front of him I think. Favourite foods right now are: veggie bolognese on pasta, lentil loaf, broccoli, sandwiches, hummus, and, of course, cookies.
10. Bodhi is a fan of everyone in his family and talks about them constantly: Mommy, Daddy, Gamma (grandma), Poppa, Liz, Bett (brett), Kanan (karen), Sopie (sophie), Cala (clara), Banan (brandon), Nessa (vanessa), Luty (lucy), Sleeping (alice), Kurt, Ben, John and Awna (andrea).
