Christmas!!!!! This is definitely my favourite time of year - hands down. On Tuesday night (December 1st) we made a spontaneous visit to Canadian Tire and picked out a perfect tree and brought it home to decorate. Bodhi still says "wow" every time he looks at it. It's so different this year having a toddler instead of a baby at Christmastime. He really seems to be getting into it - he definitely gets that from me! So far we've learned the words Santa, nutcracker, snowman, angel, and wreath and Bodhi takes everyone who comes over on a tour of the nutcrackers around the house - apparently they are a VERY big deal. Our advent calendar is up and we even bought a little chocolate one for Bodhi which seems to be more of a tease than anything - one chocolate opening a day just isn't enough for him. Our gift list is getting crossed off slowly but surely, the Christmas wreath is on the door and Christmas carols are being played on a daily basis. I love Christmas!
On a completely unrelated note - Bodhi started saying "I love you" yesterday. This is absolutely the only Christmas gift that I will ever need!
