He did it! For some reason, my recent obsession has been with getting Bodhi to roll over and today he did his mama proud! I placed him on his tummy this morning for our usual early morning round of tummy time and he didn't even last 10 seconds before he rolled over onto his back. What an amazing thing to watch! I can't believe how much he's changing day to day. I was reading an old post on this blog that joked about how he frequently punches himself in the face - and I realized that he doesn't do that anymore. When did that stop? Last night I handed him a rattle to play with and normally he would just grab it and drop it or put it directly in his mouth - but this time I sat and watched him while he really actually played with it - turning it over in his hands, shaking it to hear the rattle and really studying its pattern. When did that start? I realized today that he doesn't seem to be eating as often anymore and is able to sit and observe for long periods of time. It's almost as if he's actually getting old!
It seems funny to say, but my boy is really growing up.
