Ahhhhh, sweet sweet sleep. At the risk of completely jinxing myself, I am proud to announce that Bodhi has now slept completely through the night three nights in a row. I know that three nights does not a habit make - but it feels pretty great! I have now slept 8 hours straight three nights in a row and feel like a whole new woman. I'm sure after making that statement that I have doomed myself to 8 hours straight of being awake tonight instead of asleep, but I did think that it was large enough of an event to put it in writing! Here's the rub....he will only sleep contentedly in his bassinet. That's right, the bassinet he grew out of when he was two months old. He'll sleep happily with his legs folded up and his little head pressed up against the side, all curled up and smooshed. I guess it has something to do with feeling safe and cozy. At some point soon, though, he really will be way too big for the bassinet and we'll have a whole new adventure on our hands. For now, I will enjoy the long restful sleeps and the sweet little good morning smiles I get when we stretch awake in the morning.
