Here's a little insight into my little man's world - a list of his favourite things!
1. The Jolly Jumper! Bodhi cannot get enough of this thing. He bounces and bounces and bounces up a storm. He'll bounce around in a circle so that he's looking out the window - pause and check the plants out for a bit - then get bouncing again until he's turned back around. He could honestly stay in this thing for hours and I always feel guilty taking him out - but I don't want his poor bouncing muscles to get too worn out!
2. The Remote Control! I don't know if it's the coloured buttons or the shape, but the remote is Bodhi's new favourite toy.
3. Sitting up in the stroller! It's a whole new world! We've had a couple of fun walks with Bodhi sitting straight up in the stroller checking out the scene. He soon gets worn out though and lounges back and snoozes.
4. Rainbow Songs! Bodhi and I have joined a song circle. We go every week and hang out with other moms and babies and sing songs. Bodhi is still a little serious (it's only been 2 weeks) but he is completely fascinated by the guitar - hmmm, possible musician on our hands?
5. Ear nibbling! Chomping on Bodhi's ear seems to be the most hilarious thing he has come across in his 20 weeks! As soon as you start chomping, he starts laughing and squealing!
6. Kitchen Bumbo! There are so many non-toys to grab in the kitchen! Bodhi's Bumbo sits in striking distance of the fruit and the dish cloths. Bananas seem to be a new fun thing to grab!
7. Tasty fist! Bodhi has been chewing everything in sight for a while now, but lately he has really mastered the art of fitting his entire fist into his mouth. He's so talented!
8. Toe touching! Every chance he has, Bodhi is grabbing his sweet little toes. It's makes for a very cute sight, but a very difficult diaper change!
9. Roly Poly! The other morning, I went into the kitchen to make some breakfast and Bodhi was playing on a blanket in the next room. I heard a little squeal, peeked in to see what was happening and Bodhi had rolled across the entire living room floor! He's mobile - look out!
10. Parent grabbing! Whenever he can get close enough, Bodhi reaches out his little hands and grabs whatever part of Dan or my face/neck/chin that he can get a hold of - and he will hang on for dear life! He is also suddenly very fond of hair grabbing - well, not on Dan.
There you are! Bodhi's top 10 favourite things. I'm sure these will all be different by next week! We'll try to keep up!
