This weekend Bodhi, Dan and I all piled in the car and went on a fun road trip up to Grey County - the birthplace of the County Boy himself (Dan). We drove up to Flesherton and then over to Eugenia Falls. The plan was to hike around the falls but unfortunately they had decided not to fix the broken fence along the edge of the falls and we decided to forego the 1 foot wide trail with the 500 foot drop next to it! We walked around a bit and then headed to a great lookout point for a picnic lunch. It was a great day!
It's so great that Bodhi is getting old enough now that we can do family activities like this and he can really participate. He no longer sleeps in the stroller while we take him to see amazing things - he's actually aware and curious and taking it all in. He loved looking out at the falls while strapped to his Daddy and enjoyed staring out the window as the urban sprawl slipped away from us. He's a regular County Boy himself!
