Now that Bodhi has turned 1 he suddenly has a whole slew of new favourite things! It's hard to keep up with this boy! Here are Bodhi's top 10 favourite things....
10) His Fisher Price farm - he spends a lot of time opening and closing the barn doors to hear the cows moo and the horses neigh - over and over and over again. And putting the little animals in the silo and watching them fall out the bottom is HILARIOUS.
9) 1/4 cup measuring cup - he was hanging out with me in the kitchen one day and I gave him the cup to play with - it hasn't left his side since. It's gone on stroller rides, car rides, sits next to him while he eats meals, and when he's opening the barn doors, over and over and over again.
8) Books about buddhism and comedy writing - not to read or anything - those are just his favourite to pull off the shelves and spread randomly throughout the room.
7) Sandwiches - Bodhi loves a good sandwich! They usually come in the form of hummus and cucumber or almond butter - but anyway you slice 'em, he loves 'em.
6) Little yellow and pink shovels - for his birthday, Bodhi got a set of water and sand toys from our friend Liz - he's grown very partial to the little yellow and pink shovels. Although, of late they have been somewhat replaced by the 1/4 cup measuring cup.
5) Thomas the Tank Engine toy - Bodhi's cousins Sophie and Clara got him this toy for his birthday and he can't get enough of it.
4) Electric guitar - we got a tiny little electric guitar in a cereal box and he loves it! It has little buttons on it that you can press to make electric guitar sounds (I hesitate to call it music). Our own little guitar hero.
3) New keyboard - we found a children's keyboard that plays about 20 different instruments at the Zen Centre yard sale for $2. It's a hit!
2) Water table - Bodhi got a new water table for his birthday and spends the day trying to open the sliding glass door to get outside and play with it. It's a bit of a tease because it sits just on the other side of the glass door where he can see it, but not reach it. Unfortunately, our balcony is still a bit chilly so we can't spend too much time out there. Bring on the hot hot heat of summer!
1) The park! The beautiful weather lately has got us swinging and sliding up a storm. Bodhi loves the swing and squeals with delight the entire time he is on it. The slide is a big hit too, as well as the little rocking elephant at the park near our house. Although, his favourite part may be just watching all the other kids running around.

Yahoo--we made top 10! I think it's safe to say Thomas probably isn't on YOUR top 10 list and for that I apologize--but I did ask permission first! Miss you all--hope you have a GREAT dinner out and I hope G and B have a grand old time together :)
