So today we didn't have too many plans - just hang around the house and be together. Then the phone rings and it's Uncle Jeff and Aunt Heather! And they're just down the street! It was such an amazing treat to get a visit from them and for them to see Bodhi when he was still so small. We had a really nice visit with them and Uncle Jeff's silliness was a definite hit with the boy! This was definitely the highlight of our day!
After their visit we settled in for the afternoon - Bodhi had his nap and Dan and I sat down to watch the Euro Cup final - which, needless to say, I slept through - aaaaaaah. A big nap was definitely needed and more than welcome.
In the evening the three of us set out for a nice nightime walk and toured the neighbourhood for a while until it was time to get ready for bed. After Bodhi went to sleep Dan and I put in a favourite movie, got out the chips and had a nice cuddle on the couch. Seriously - does it get any better than this?
