We had a great weekend in Kingston this past weekend! After a lot of stressing about how Bodhi would do on his first trip out of town and at a wedding no less, he slept through the whole thing! Picture this - Bodhi, in the arms of anyone who could get their hands on him, stationed directly under an extremely loud speaker, blaring 80s music, ASLEEP! I've never seen anything like it! Dan and I were able to really enjoy a visit with my family and Bodhi was a big hit! Even after a great weekend, all three of us were happy to get home, back to our own beds and our routine that is beginning to get established.
So, on to Bodhi's new thing. Up until now, (as proven in the previous paragraph) Bodhi has been able to sleep anywhere. He'll sleep in his bassinet, in his vibrating chair, in anyone's arms, in his stroller, anywhere. It now seems that he has mistaken his mom for a mattress, and apparently it's the most comfortable mattress he has ever known (in his 4 weeks of life outside the womb). He can no longer tolerate any substandard mattresses, strollers, chairs, or any other piece of furniture, now that he has discovered the wonderous comfort of mom's torso. I wonder if it's actual comfort or if he is just trying to protect what is his (and by that I mean his lunch). He'll often lie on my chest with his arms splayed covering my his most prized possessions. Heaven forbid someone steals them while he sleeps!
Regardless of his motives, I can hardly complain. These are my most treasured times of the day.

I love how he puts his cute little arm up when he sleeps! I love him :) He is so precious. One question...will he sleep on Dada Danny or only you??
