We're on the move!

A very large decision has been made in our world in the past couple of weeks - we're moving to Kingston! We're really excited about what this means for us. First, Dan has left his job and has been home with us for a couple of weeks which has been fantastic! We've been exploring the city, going for walks and trips to the park, and just generally hanging out together. I'm going to be heading back to work next week until the end of the summer and then we're off to Kingston on August 31st. The next few months will be full of new transitions for all of us - the first of which will be me going back to work and Dan staying home with Bodhi. I'm actually quite excited about working for a couple of months but it will be the hardest thing I've ever done to leave my sweet boy at home. It does make it so much easier to know that he'll be at home with Dan rather than in a daycare, and obviously it helps to know that I'll be back home in 7 weeks! I do worry about the adjustment that Bodhi will make but if the past is any indication, he's a pretty adaptable and content little guy and is completely in love with his dad. I'm sure that the transition will be much harder for me than for him - and maybe a little hard for Dan too!

At the end of the summer we'll be heading off to Kingston where we'll be staying in Grandma's house - she'll be living in her new big beautiful house in the country - complete with lake for swimming and skating! We're really excited at the prospect of having our own house with space and a yard and a park across the street. We have very little in the way of plans but we're excited about that too!

We have been feeling lately like we're stuck in a bit of a rut in Toronto. It hasn't felt since Bodhi was born like much has changed in terms of our lifestyle (except for the fact that we have a baby!). We're living in the same place, working the same jobs, and having a horrible time trying to save money living in Toronto. We're all looking forward to the chance to start fresh as our own little family, and who knows, maybe expand it there too!
